Bus driver Janet O’Connell has been hailed as a hero for saving 40 children from a burning bus.
This happened in the US. The passengers were students at Imagine School in West Melbourne, Florida.
The student’s family thanked the bus driver. The bus driver was taking the children home when she noticed smoke coming from the hood of the bus.
Without wasting time, the thinking woman quickly dropped the children off the bus. The bus was destroyed when the light smoke turned into flames.
The teacher thinks very quickly and it is through this quality that the students are saved. Now they are safe and sound. The problem occurred due to an electrical problem in the bus.
The driver is praised, but she says that she is not a hero. She said that she loved children very much and that it was her duty to act quickly.
