Enough of series like Sister Wives or Seeking Sister Wife that follow a polygamous family with a husband and several wives. It’s time for women to have fun! In Seeking Brother Husband, it is the ladies who will add or at least try to marry multiple husbands to expand their multi-person family.
Our star, Elisa Alpizar, was one of the four wives who starred in the show.
“There is definitely a double standard. When a woman has multiple partners, it’s, ‘My God, she’s a slut.’ She lays around,’ she shared. “They assume [with] multiple male partners, it’s just about sex. It’s definitely not that.”
Other ladies that appeared alongside Elisa were Kenya (married to Carl and Tiger), Kim (married to Dustin and Vinson) and Chara (married to Patrick and Noble).

Elisa Alpizar first met at the Lightning in a Bottle festival in 2015 on a random Saturday. She recalled attending the event with her best friend, Amanda Ayres, and saw Amanda talking to Mike as Flume, the artist, was about to start her performance. So, while she was heading towards them looking for an opportunity to strike up a conversation, the set had already started and she couldn’t introduce herself.
However, Elisa and Mike were next to each other throughout the performance. But they were too nervous to take the first step, they didn’t dare say a word. Fortunately, Amanda noticed this and pushed Elisa towards Mike, who saved her from falling just in time.
The two then danced throughout the show under purple lights before Mike initiated the kiss. It was “pure magic,” Elisa recalled. “As soon as we met, it was like we were inseparable. I mean, we were in love.”
Fast forward to September 2018, the lovebirds got married in Huntington (a beach wedding) and relocated to the Hollywood area of Los Angeles in 2020 to pursue their dreams and their ideal lifestyle.
But even though this seemed like an ideal relationship, Elisa was keeping a big secret from Mike. In the confessional, Elisa said that she cheated on Mike while they were in a relationship, not because she wasn’t happy, but because she just had this “really intense relationship with someone else.”
He also added that the timing in their relationship was difficult. “I was like, why do I feel this way about this other person if our relationship is so good? I didn’t know then that we could have a great relationship and still like someone else,” she explained.
So when the truth came out, it was hard for the couple to get over their infidelity. But in the end, the duo decided to stay and Mike agreed to let Elisa find more partners. “I had to ask myself questions: Do I want to stay with her to find more partners? Or do I want to break up with her? I decided to stay with her and just grow from there,” he explained.
Now the two have been married for four years. Elisa marked her 4th anniversary on IG on August 28, 2022 with a post titled: “The weather is so weird guys! It doesn’t feel like it’s only been 4 years since we got married. It seems a lot longer, and I mean that in the best way.”

His mother, Ramona Mitchell Alpizar, is a retired nurse. She used to work as a manager/business partner at Mission Hospital.
As for his father, Hartzell Alpizar, they taught and coached track at LB Jordan High School from 1971 to 1987.
Ramona and Hartzell turned 66 and 75 in 2022. In August 2016 they celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary and Elisa takes them as inspiration. “Your love is such an inspiration!
