Jackson Mahomes nightclub video goes viral after arrest & charged with sexual battery

After a lengthy investigation, Jackson Mahomes was arrested early Wednesday for an incident that occurred in February at a restaurant in Overland Park, Kansas City. The incident occurred just weeks after his brother Patrick won his second Super Bowl. Jackson is accused of pushing a server and forcibly kissing the restaurant’s owner, Aspen Vaughn, grabbing her by the neck without her consent.

Jackson now faces sexual assault charges in connection with the incident. The restaurant’s security cameras recorded the incident and, since then, the images have been published and disseminated on social networks.

Vaughn said he tried to push Jackson away several times, but to no avail.

“He forcefully kissed me out of the blue. And I talk to him, I push him, I say: ‘What are you doing?’ And then he did it two more times, where the last time I pushed him, and I see on the cameras that someone was outside the office door, and I yelled at them to come help, because he’s big and chunky.”

The video corroborates Vaughn’s account of the incident, which he reported to authorities. Despite the incident that occurred on February 23, the social media influencer remained silent and even took a long break from posting content.

Jackson Mahomes was arrested and booked into the Johnson County Jail shortly after 7:00 am CT. He is currently being held on $100,000 bond and is scheduled to be arraigned this afternoon on sexual assault charges.

Brittany Mahomes’s reaction to the accusations against her brother-in-law

The Mahomes family has not addressed the allegations surrounding Jackson, but Patrick’s wife, Brittany, recently took to social media to show her support for her brother-in-law. In an Instagram Q&A with fans a few weeks ago, she mentioned that people aren’t up to speed on the whole situation. Brittany also came to her defense, calling her critics “ignorant” and stating that she is simply trying to navigate life. She concluded that no one had the authority to judge the young Mahomes because they had not experienced what he had experienced.

“They are ignorant. He is a man just trying to live his life and find his way and until you walk in his shoes one day (which no one ever will) you have no right to say anything about him.”

Brittany and Jackson were close friends even before she got married. They often attend Kansas City Chiefs games together and are photographed on the sidelines.
