Clare Kambhu has spent her life as an artist, painting and teaching. Since September 2011, she has worked as an art teacher at the New York City Department of Education.
Additionally, in 2015 she was an Adjunct Professor at the University at Albany, SUNY, in 2017 an Associate Professor at Yale University, and the following year an Associate Professor at the Yale Prison Education Initiative at Dwight Hall.
In general, Clare has taught high school and college art. She also creates interactive online art courses using Adobe InDesign and has been a booth curator in the past. “I create observational paintings that depict institutional interiors and abstract pieces that allow me to explore the internal tensions and contradictions of working within educational institutions,” he explained.
