Before filming Outlast, Andrea revealed why she thinks she can survive Alaska. She said: “I literally have a shed full of trophies showing every sport I’ve competed in over the years… and I’d say 90% of them are first place… I’ve been in races 20,000 feet of altitude sickness on the cleft side of a covered mountain, hungry, dehydrated and forced to climb another 10 hours or more to the top and back to base camp… I can take it with the best.”
Despite her physical strength, Andrea became seriously ill during the first few episodes and became the first person to leave Outlast season 1. She began her Outlast journey as a member of Team Charlie Camp, which included players like Angie, Nick, and Seth. .
