Jordan Williams immediately found himself at Delta Camp with Paul Preece, Dawn Nelson and Joel Hungate after going undrafted on the first three teams that were established. He offered his enthusiastic cooperation as he encouraged them to work together, determined to prove everyone wrong and hopefully prevail.
As they quickly built a base and built a fire that first night, Jordan realized he could trust his comrades. This increased his commitment to the competition, especially considering that Delta Camp was the last team to still have all four original members together. Jordan also made the decision to talk to the members of Charlie Camp in hopes of engaging in some mind games. However, the result was not what he expected.
The situation changed when the contestants had to build a raft to reach an island in the Neka River and retrieve the secret crab traps. Jordan ended up being selected to be on the raft for the trip, and when he saw Charlie Camp’s Angie Kenai, he even decided to do some push-ups. Unfortunately for him, due to the current of the river, he missed the island.
Jordan was concerned about his health and his ability to continue competing as he was now running low on food. He admitted that his fat reserves are lower than everyone else’s and that he can already feel his ribs. Jordan wanted to continue but eventually gave up as he was walking, which worried his teammates and handlers had to take him to the hospital.
It was announced that Jordan would be given the choice if he wanted to return to the show after he woke up from not using his signal weapon. Although the remaining members of Camp Delta wanted his friend back, they were also very concerned for his well-being. Jordan’s handwritten message to the team was soon delivered to them in the form of a letter.
Jordan apologized for not being able to play anymore and asked his teammates to keep playing hard to win the game for their loved ones.

Jordan Williams was a former US Marine. He graduated from United States Marine Corps Boot Camp at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego on January 8, 2016. While in recruit training, Master Sergeant Williams was promoted to platoon leader and then platoon leader of platoon.
Jordan was meritoriously promoted to the rank of Lance Corporal and was awarded the rank of Honor Man Series as the second-ranking Marine in his class of 441 Marines during the graduation ceremony.
