In addition to raising awareness about how food can improve people’s health and reduce chronic disease, they want to show people how easy it is to incorporate superfoods into their diet. . This tutorial includes recipes for grilled carrots and chicken skewers with satay sauce, sauerkraut and grilled buckwheat pasta, and hot chocolate with turmeric. The number of cancer-fighting compounds and ingredients that are superfoods is broken down for each recipe.
In a previous study, Dr Veselkov’s team examined data on the molecular composition of more than 8,000 common foods and discovered more than 110 cancer-fighting compounds. Many of these molecules belong to a huge group of substances called flavonoids, which contribute to the color of fruits and vegetables. To rapidly collect data and further scientific research, the initiative used DreamLab, an award-winning program created by the Vodafone Foundation that utilizes the processing power of tens of thousands of phones Smart is charged overnight.
