Real life crazy rich Asian Christine Chiu is not successful just because she was married to a plastic surgeon. She is wealthy thanks to the work ethic instilled in her by her parents.

Since childhood, Christina Chiu’s parents have asked her to study harder, work harder, and be more successful. They even reinforced her to ignore racists/haters and encouraged her to always be on top of her so no one would make fun of her.
“You can’t make fun of me, I’ll be your boss one day,” Christine shared her childhood perspective.
In addition to their work ethic, Christine’s parents instilled in her the importance of giving back to the community and loved ones. They were very philanthropic like her now.
However, while Christine spoke highly of them, she admitted that she always felt she was never good enough and had to work to earn her parents’ love. And this is also something that she would like to modernize and dress up, not pass on to her baby.
“I would like to use positive reinforcement with Baby G. You have to let him know that you give him love and acceptance; you don’t have to work for it, he doesn’t need to earn it. I will love him and accept him no matter what.” she shared
Now speaking of what happened to her mom, the Bling Empire star lost her mom during the 2020 pandemic. Not to COVID, but to breast cancer.
Her mother was her best friend and the closest person in her life. After crossing the rainbow bridge, Christine realized that whatever she had — “ostentation, popularity, or prestige” — didn’t matter. “What is really important to me now and forever is family and health,” she added.
The following year, while Christine was taking part in Dancing with the Stars, she even dedicated the performance to her late mother.
Recalling her favorite memories with her mother, Christine shared that she loved to pray with her. Every time she had a problem, she would take her mother’s hand and take her concerns to God.

Christine Chiu is a direct descendant of the 24th generation of the Chinese Song dynasty. Unfortunately, her father broke up with her for 10 years for unknown reasons. They only got close again recently after the death of her mother.
Now, Christine and her father move “very carefully” in their reconciled relationship.

Her husband, Gabriel, is a Beverly Hills plastic and reconstructive surgeon. She began her career at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. There, he was promoted to associate chief of plastic and reconstructive surgery. He eventually returned to California, started his private practice, and met Christine.
According to Gabriel, Bling Empire was a Trojan horse that drew people in with all its glitz but delivered a stronger, more honest message.

Christine Chiu has only one child named Gabriel Christian Chiu III, born on June 28, 2018.
When the Bling Empire star married Gabriel in 2006, their families were under pressure to “immediately proliferate.” Unfortunately, even after a year of trying, Christine was unable to conceive. So she tried everything: Oriental herbs, Chinese herbs, orthodox Persian techniques, and even sexual positions. But nothing worked!
Frustrated, the duo requested IVF, and after six attempts, finally learned that it was male factor infertility and the chance of conception was low.
Fortunately, Dr. Chiu went through several procedures to get to the point where the couple could have viable sperm. And in the seventh IVF cycle, Baby G was born.
Today, her son is over 4 years old and is already a model.
Speaking about parenthood, Christine said that it is full of responsibility, but also that it is a privilege to be a mother. She remembers crying her heart out because she wanted to be a mom (and she couldn’t). She even found it difficult to see mothers with children. And now that she has a child of her own, she cherishes every second.
“I had a lot of time to observe and think about what kind of mom I would like to be, edit things that I would like to pass on.” I think my favorite moment as a mother is being able to educate in a fun way because growing up, education was kind of a job,” she explained.
