NY1 Meteorologist Erick Adame fired
Erick Adame was fired from his job as a meteorologist at Spectrum News, NY1 right after an anonymous person on an adult webcam site took nude photos of him and sent them to his boss.

“It was absurd of me to think that I could keep this a secret,” Erick wrote in a letter via his IG.
The meteorologist also expressed his regret saying, “Despite being a public figure and being on television in the largest market in the country for millions of people five days a week for more than a decade and a half, I secretly appeared on a adult. webcam site.
Apologizing, Erick later added that he couldn’t change what happened, but that he “got the professional help” he needed to make “appropriate decisions” that didn’t affect his loved ones as well as his career.
However, while he apologized for his actions, Erick noted that he is not apologizing for being gay or sex positive. “I’m not ashamed of them. I’m currently wandering into my life for the first time in many years,” he added.
