Last year Shout brought the Ghostface franchise back to life with a reboot/sequel that mixed some veterans (Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, and David Arquette) with some fresh blood (Jenna Ortega, now a much bigger star thanks to Wednesday) with excellent results. It’s no surprise that a sequel will follow, and it’s criminally underrated. scream 3The bloodbath moves from Woodsboro to a new location: New York City.
Like Jason Voorhees before him, Ghostface will be traversing the Big Apple, with some new bodies to mutilate and the return of a fan favorite from the franchise to threaten again: Kirby Hayden Panettiere from scream 4. The trailers show promise for this sequel, and the new location (Undergrounds! Fire Escapes! Subsidized Rent!), along with Ortega’s increased role, indicate that Shout it will be memorable.

There is no doubt about that Sixty-five has the best hook of any movie in 2023: Adam Driver fights dinosaurs… weapon. How is this possible? does it matter? The film was written and directed by Scott Beck and Bryan Woods, who wrote the original. peaceful place — so you know a thing or two about creating character-driven stories and creating effective suspense. They are joined by legendary composer Danny Elfman, whose music for bat Man and the nightmare before christmas Show that you can come up with one or two memorable tunes. Well, Willem Dafoe is going to prove it, and he’s going to prove it, with a new psychological thriller. From insidewhich puts the former Green Goblin in a room and allows him to chew up the landscape… or, at least, tear it in two with his bare hands.
Dafoe plays an art thief trapped in a New York penthouse after a heist goes wrong. Alone and unable to call for help (because, you know, he’s a criminal trying to steal millions of dollars worth of art), he must find a way to escape or die trying. A high-concept movie like this can only work with the right cast, and Dafoe fits the bill. In films as diverse as a light sleeper, shadow of the vampireand The Florida ProjectHe’s proven to be one of the best actors in the world, and I can’t wait to see what he does in this pressure cooker of a movie.

Recorded in Paris, Berlin, Japan and New York, John Wick: Chapter 4 promises a journey that spans the globe, blood spattered at famous landmarks. The director, Chad Stahelski, directed all three of the previous John Wicks movies, so if you liked those movies (and chances are you did), you’ll probably like this one, too.
