Most of the Test centuries are scored by Australian players
#1 Ricky Ponting
Former Australia captain and one of the all-time greats, Ricky Ponting, holds the record for the most number of hundreds in the Cricket Test for Australia. During his nearly two-decade career, Ponting scored 41 goals in 287 matches. He has played 168 games and as captain he maintains an impressive win rate of 62.33%.
#2 Steve Waugh
Steve Waugh is another veteran Australian cricketer who has scored 32 goals in 260 innings. Between 1985 and 2004, he played 168 matches and was instrumental in creating the “golden era” of Australian cricket.
#3 Steve Smith
Steve Smith is considered the living reincarnation of Don Bradman due to his high Test average and scoring consistency. He collected 31 centuries in just 170 innings and played 97 games. Smith is also close to hitting 10,000 runs and will become the second youngest cricketer in Australia to reach the milestone.
#4 Matthew Hayden
Matthew Hayden has scored his 30th goal of the century in 184 plays and 103 games during his 15-year career. He was also a major player in Australia’s “golden era” and is widely regarded as one of the best openers in Test cricket. He also holds the record for the highest singles score of any Australian player: 380.
#5 Don Bradman
The name Donald Bradman is known to every cricket fan. Bradman is considered by many to be the greatest cricketer of all time and is known for his extremely high batting average of 99.94 in the Cricket Test. During his 20-year career, Bradman scored 29 goals in 80 innings and 52 matches.
