- 2 gold and 1 silver tokens
- 1 gold and 2 silver tokens
- 3 silver tokens
While there are some conflicting reports, higher value combos (three gold tokens or two gold and one silver) seem to have a better chance of paying for a higher level spell, but your mileage may vary. What is known is that the charms you get are set after you start playing the game. This means you can’t “shock” the system to get what you want, since reloading your save before inserting your tokens will always give you the same charm.
How to equip spells
Once you’ve unlocked one or more charms, you can attach up to three of them to your bag of choice. To do this, simply go to Customize the case in the typewriter menu and select the charms you want to equip from the bottom menu. You can replace these on any typewriter, so feel free to change them to suit your current needs.
