In the clip, he says: “Taking the band-aid off, I have cancer. But I’ve also known about this for three or four days, so I had time to process it.”
The star then adds that it was a long journey to find out what was wrong with him: he was in the hospital several times with more tests and more.
He also describes his cancer as type B after stating that lymphoma differs from other cancers in that its severity is not measured at stages one through four. Instead, it is classified as A, B, or C.
Fortunately, he did not have cancer in his bone marrow. That just meant an additional four months of chemotherapy.
Later, the young man ponders the possibility of hair loss and mentions that he will be wearing a cold cap, a hat worn during chemotherapy that reduces blood flow to the scalp, ultimately preventing hair loss.
