Chris Rock Slams Will And Jada Smith Over Oscars Slap In Viral Video

Chris Rock appeared in his latest Netflix stand-up special, taking aim at Jade Pinkett Smith’s affair and husband Will Smith’s reaction to her GI Jane prank at last year’s Academy Awards.

The comedian didn’t hold back, bringing up Smith’s selective anger and boldly poking fun at the fact that Pinkett Smith interviewed her husband after she cheated on him with one of her son’s friends, R&B singer August Alsin.

The romance between Pinkett Smith and Alsina was first revealed during an episode of her Facebook series, Red Table Talk, in which she described their relationship as a “plot.” The couple reportedly first met in 2015, when Alsina was 22 and Pinkett Smith was 43.

Rock didn’t shy away from the subject, saying, “Will Smith is practicing selective anger because everyone knows what the hell happened. Everyone knows that I had nothing to do with that situation. I didn’t have any complications.”

He then made it clear he wasn’t pulling any punches, saying: “Will Smith’s wife fucked his son’s friend. She normally wouldn’t talk about it, but for some reason they decided to put it on the internet.”

The comedian also criticized the couple’s decision to air their dirty laundry on a public platform, saying: “I have no idea why two talented people would do something so fucking low. What the hell? We were all deceived; everyone here is deceived. None of us have ever been interviewed on television by the person who set us up. None of us.”

She went on to suggest that Pinkett Smith hurt her husband more than he hurt her, saying, “She hurt him a lot more than he hurt me.”

The controversy between Rock and Smith dates back to last year’s Oscars, when Rock made a GI Jane joke about Pinkett Smith, in a comment referencing her bald head. Smith was seen yelling ‘keep my wife’s name out of your fucking mouth’ before coming onstage and slapping Rock across the face.

Despite the incident, the ceremony went on as usual, but Smith faced consequences for his actions, including a 10-year suspension from the Academy Awards.

During his stand-up special, Rock also addressed the topic of selective anger, referencing one of his earlier jokes. He criticized the Smiths for their reaction to his joke, saying: “Will Smith didn’t say anything when all these white people didn’t nominate black artists. He says, ‘That’s not my way.’ But now that she’s his wife, it’s everyone’s way.”

However, Chris Rock’s latest stand-up special is likely to spark controversy, as many people will take sides in the ongoing feud between him and the Smiths. However, it’s clear that the comedian isn’t afraid to speak his mind and go toe-to-toe with some of the biggest names in Hollywood.
