Jay Briscoe cause of death
A prominent fighter has passed away. Ring of Honor CEO Tony Khan has confirmed that Jay Briscoe, whose real name is Jamin Pugh, who competed in professional wrestling alongside his younger brother Mark Briscoe, has passed away. “Unfortunately, Jamin Pugh has passed away,” Khan wrote in a tweet on January 17, referring to Jay by her birth name. “Known to fans as Jay Briscoe, he has been a star in ROH for over 20 years, from the very first show to this day.”
Khan continued: “Jay and his brother Mark dominated ROH, reigning as champions to this day. We will do everything possible to support your family. Rest in peace Jamie.”
Although he died in a car accident in his hometown and likely succumbed to injuries sustained in the accident, the exact cause of death has yet to be confirmed.
Jay has won gold titles for organizations including ROH, Impact Wrestling, NJPW, Pro Wrestling NOAH, GCW, and CZW during his storied career. Many wrestling promotions have also expressed their respect for him.

We send our deepest condolences to his family, whom he loved beyond words, as well as to his friends and fans of him.”
