Sandra Willett, mother of Suzanne Marie Sevakis, was married four times. She supposedly had seven children from her four marriages. She at times was a single mother raising four children, and other reports suggest that she even worked as a prostitute to support her children.

Clifford Sevakis, Sandra Willett’s first husband. They were high school sweethearts who were married for a short time. Clifford, the son of Ray Welch Sevakis and Lillian Sevakis, was born in Detroit, Michigan. Clifford and Sandra had their only child, Suzanne Sevakis, on September 9, 1969.
Clifford was in the army when they had their daughter and was able to see Suzanne occasionally when she was young, but Sandra and Clifford were unable to salvage their marriages. Questions were often raised as to why Clifford did nothing on his part to find his daughter.
But his family members defended him, saying Clifford was unaware he had a daughter at the time. On an online forum, one of his family members claimed that Clifford only found out about his daughter around 2010. And that he was heartbroken after learning everything that happened to her.

They reportedly shared four children; Allison Brandenburg was born in 1971, Amy Brandenburg in 1972, Phillip Brandenburg in 1974, and also Jonathan Brandenburg. At the time she met Brandon Cleo Williams (real name Franklin Delano Floyd), she was a single mother of three.

Speaking of her husband, Dennis was born on October 29, 1946 to parents Donald Brandenburg and Elaine Brandenburg. She was one of six children born to her parents. Who is Sandra Willett’s third husband, Franklin Floyd?
Franklin Delano Floyd, a fugitive, was calling himself Brandon Cleo Williams when he met Sandra in 1974. They allegedly met at a truck stop in North Carolina.
Sandra revealed on the Netflix show that she is battling PTSD after a tornado hit the trailer she was living in with her children when she met Floyd. She promised that she would “take care of herself” [her] and [her] children”, but began to do “horrible things”, such as carrying a knife with him all the time and telling Willett: “Do you think you are going to leave me? That doesn’t happen.”
Other sources claim that Sandra told Brandon, aka Franklin, that the state got her three children and that he offered to marry her so she could get her children back. Sandra was looking for a fresh start and they got married and moved to Texas.
They ran into financial difficulties and Sandra wrote a bad check when buying diapers. With that, she was put behind bars for 30 days. She was comfortable leaving the children with her husband, but when she left her, the children were gone.
He also talked about his arrest and his visit to the police. The officers asked her if she was legally married to Floyd, and when she said yes, they told her that she would have to handle the situation herself.
Sandra found Amy and Allison at a Catholic children’s home, but Suzanne and Phillip were missing.
Franklin had an elaborate criminal history that included several kidnappings, sexual assaults, robberies, and assaults to his name. In 1962, he was found guilty of kidnapping a 4-year-old girl and child abuse and was sentenced to between 10 and 20 years in prison.
However, he escaped less than a year later and carried out a robbery at a Citizens & Southern National Bank branch in Macon, Georgia. In January 1973, he tried to grope a woman and sexually assault her. He was arrested but released on bail and went on the run, without appearing in court on June 11, 1973.
In addition, Franklin is accused of murdering Suzanne’s son, Michael Hughes, and Cheryl Ann Commesso, Suzanne’s former co-worker. Photographic evidence left behind by Floyd in the stolen car shows evidence of 18-year-old Cheryl being severely beaten and tied up.
He was arrested for Commess’s murder in 1989. In 2002, he was convicted and sentenced to death.
Now, Franklin is awaiting death row at the Union Correctional Institution in Florida. She is 79 years old. As for Suzanne’s son Michael, investigative journalist Matt Birkbeck said: “Floyd was feeling the pressure and his patience ran out. He turned and looked at me and said, ‘I shot him twice in the back of the head to make him go very fast.'”
In 2014, he admitted to the FBI that he killed Michael the day he was kidnapped.

Carson Willett is the latest of Sandra Willett’s famous husbands. They were allegedly married for 30 years. Carson, also known as Sonny, died unexpectedly on August 12, 2010 while on vacation in Michigan.
