A video of Nigerian singer Rema collapsing at a UK concert went viral on November 9, 2022.
Rema unexpectedly collapsed during the Rave & Roses tour in Brixton around 20 minutes in. Security immediately came to his aid and they managed to carry him offstage on a stretcher.
The artist, who rose to fame after the release of the song Dumebi, was full of energy while performing in front of a huge crowd.
The fans began to cry. As soon as they noticed that he “passed out” on stage, the singer revealed that it was a joke, as he then energetically ended the performance.
The musician was seen being carried offstage on a stretcher while others tried to help him in now-released video seen online.
A little while later, Rema jumped off the stretcher she was resting on and ran onto the stage to thunderous cheers from the fans who were relieved to see him.
We think he did all of this to promote his show, as well as his upcoming EP and the new single from his label.
