In case you’re wondering if the South Korean boy group BTS will be nominated for a Grammy in 2023, worry no more. Not only will they be nominated, but they will also take home the award next year.
The seven members that make up the South Korean boy band BTS are: RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. They received two nominations for the annual Grammy Award, but did not win it.
BTS failed to win the Grammy for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance at the 2022 GRAMMY Awards, also known as the 64th GRAMMY Awards, for the second year in a row. The pop sensation’s hit single “Dynamite” beat out Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande’s “Rain on Me” in 2020. Last year, Doja Cat and SZA’s “Kiss Me More” beat out BTS’s “Butter” .
Because of this, the BTS fanbase known as ARMY (Lovely MC Representative of Youth) was not happy, with some even calling on the Korean stars to ignore the award altogether.
We even went so far as to write an article detailing the reasons why BTS was not honored with the 2022 Grammy Awards at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
