I’m obsessed with these iPhone 14 wallpapers

Wallpapers are completely subjective, but they are a fun way to dress up a smartphone like the iPhone 14. I often see a lot of people using stock wallpapers, but I think it’s dull and boring! It certainly doesn’t make your phone stand out from the crowd, and it might even help you recover your lost device while you’re out and about (it happened to me).

I’m always on the lookout for cool new wallpapers, though I don’t really change my home screen wallpaper as much as I used to since Apple made it so bulky with iOS 16. Still, I’ve amassed quite a large collection of wallpapers. of iPhones over the years. Here are a few new ones I’ve been obsessing over lately on my iPhone 14 Pro.

Well, this is not exactly one wallpaper, but a great collection of them. And they’re from Iconfactory, a graphic design and software company you may have heard of. He was the developer of the amazing Twitterrific before a certain person killed third party Twitter clients, and he is also well known for creating many beautiful apps and icons for macOS and iOS over the years.

Although Wallaroo is free and has plenty of free wallpapers to choose from, there are some that you can only access if you have a Wallaroo subscription, which costs $2 per month or $20 per year. There’s even a shortcut you can add directly from Wallaroo to quickly set any background image in the app as your wallpaper, so you don’t have to do it manually.

I’ve been a big fan of Iconfactory for years and Wallaroo is one of the best apps for finding new wallpapers. I grabbed the annual subscription (especially after the Twitter fiasco) to have some of the best wallpapers on my iPhone and iMac. Many of the wallpapers you can find on Wallaroo are also available on the Iconfactory Patreon, although you can get more exclusive stuff on Patreon.

Background on Apple’s ‘Take Note’ event

Apple Take Note Event Background on iPhone 13 Mockup

If you follow the Apple community, you’ll know that every Apple event revolves around a certain theme. During Apple’s October 2022 iPad announcement, it was called “Take Note,” and Tim Cook’s tweet featured an image of various hand-drawn glyphs in the colors of the new iPad.

I love wallpapers with glyphs and icons, especially when they are Apple related. Graphic designer and content creator BasicAppleGuy created a set of wallpapers based on the Take Note event glyphs. Icons include fun things like game controllers, a Macintosh computer, music notes, the Face ID icon, and more. You can get it in the original colors, which represent the colors of the iPad, get the dark mode versions, or go for the amazing rainbow option, which is my personal favorite.

You can download these wallpapers from iDownloadBlog.com.

The pack includes 25 soft geometric abstract wallpapers, all of which use slightly muted colors to prevent the wallpaper from competing with any content on your lock or home screen. One of my favorite JRPGs of all time was Person 5 — especially, real person 5. If you’ve played, you should be familiar with this simple line drawing of the city of Tokyo, where the game takes place.

This looks especially good on the OLED screen of the iPhone 14 Pro, and if you don’t like the black and white outline, the creator, u/w4y4u, has put together some color variants that you can find in the comments section of this thread. on the r/Amoledbackgrounds subreddit. Once again, this site is a treasure trove of amazing wallpapers that look especially good on OLED and AMOLED screens, thanks to their rich, luxurious black color.
