Sandy Lockett was a friend of Candy Montgomery, who killed her friend Betty Gore on June 13, 1980. If you’re not familiar with the case then, Candy met Betty’s husband, Allan, at church. Tired of her boring life, Candy begins to search for some excitement which eventually leads to her affair with Betty’s husband, Allan.

She was a partner in a small firm with State’s Attorney Jim Mattox, who typically handled personal injury cases.
Don made sure that Candy won, which he did, since Candy was found not guilty at trial. But his lawyer, Don, was never the same after that. He reportedly affected his mental health and caused him to commit suicide, eventually taking his life. Don shot and killed himself on November 10, 1998.
It’s quite surprising that even though Sandy played a big enough role to appear on the show, she’s not talked about or shared much in public.
