Can you play Quidditch at Hogwarts Legacy?
As sad as it is to say, you can’t play Quidditch in the Hogwarts Legacy. Although you gain access to a flying broomstick and can visit the school’s Quidditch pitch, it cannot be used to play this magical sport. This was confirmed even before the game was released, but after it came out, we learned an in-game explanation for why none of the students are preparing for some matches.
According to the current Hogwarts Headmaster, Phineas Nigellus Black, the student had suffered a serious injury playing Quidditch the previous year. Due to the rudeness, the staff decided that it would be best to cancel next year’s season and ban all students from participating in the games. While this is by no means a satisfying reason why we won’t get to experience Quidditch in the biggest Harry Potter game yet, it is a reason we have to accept.
