Burna Boy Makes History As First Nigerian Musician To Sold Out Madison Square Garden

Burna Boy is set to kick off the North American leg of his “One Night in Space” tour by making history with his sold-out show in New York on Thursday.

Burna Boy, whose real name is Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, is the first Nigerian to sell out and perform at Madison Square Garden, the most famous stadium in the world which has 19,738 seats, 540 club seats and 89 luxury suites.

Famous musicians like Justin Bieber, Beyonce, and Billy Joel have performed there over the years, making it a famous venue for pop performances.

Burna Boy and his blessed band will perform in front of some 25,000 fans Thursday April 28 at Madison Square Garden in New York.

Burna Boy earned a whopping $2.5 million from ticket sales.

Burna Boy will host a live stream on YouTube beginning at 9:00 p.m. ET on Thursday to celebrate the sold-out concert.
