Stephanie Bluher is the ex-wife of John Bluher. They reportedly exchanged wedding vows in 1979 and have been married ever since. After rumors of John’s affair with Taylor Armstrong, his current wife, a source revealed to i’m getting old that he was technically married even though he no longer lives with Stephanie in Colorado.
The source added that John was spending most of his time with Taylor in Southern California at the time. RadarOnline contacted Stephanie, but she responded at the time: “I have nothing to tell you. You can work it out with my husband.”
In the meantime, he spoke to RumorFix.com and said, “That’s completely untrue.”
She added: “My husband and I have been married since 1979 and have three children. He travels everywhere with his work. He is a very hard working man and he is not Hollywood at all. He has a house right here in Colorado and that’s it.”
Stephanie added by saying that Taylor was a close friend of the family and that she adored her. She explained: “She is a wonderful woman. She has been through a lot. We met her through a mutual friend, she needed help from her and John was trying to help her. She even acknowledges John’s help in her book. I think her book will help women a lot, it is a book of hope. This horrible gossip is the last thing she needs right now.”
John also strongly denied the relationship rumors at the time. He added: “There’s no romance and there wasn’t. Taylor wouldn’t tell anyone because it didn’t happen. Neither she nor I have any relationship except that I work for her as her legal counsel.”
He went on to say, “I didn’t travel with her on the book tour. I was in New York on business and was invited to dinner with her and a group of her friends and her manager Robert Thorne, who had to cancel at the last minute while she was there.”
John also denied claims that he spends all of his time in Southern California. He added that the sources were making things up to destroy his reputation. He explained that he serves as the manager and coordinator of all non-entertainment litigation and legal matters for the companies and his new foundation.
But John eventually divorced Stephanie and proposed to Taylor in August 2013. They married in 2014 in a beachside ceremony at the Bel Air Bay Club in front of 120 guests. Taylor looked gorgeous in a strapless bodycon dress by Chagoury Couture with detailed embroidery.
The married couple honored their vows with a cocktail party on the patio and posed for photos on the lawn. Dinner and dancing followed in the club’s dining room, where the newlyweds slow danced to The Pretenders’ “I’ll Stand By You” and Dobie Gray’s “Drift Away” with the help of a live band.
