According to Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce, the Celtics’ season-ending loss to the Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals was due to their lack of enthusiasm on the field. Though the Celtics are just five wins away from the championship, the Hall of Famer thinks Boston should make up for it in a big way next season.
On the latest episode of Showtime’s “Ticket & Truth” podcast, two legendary Celtics players talked about how bad their old club was in Game 7.
“I noticed a C in the first two minutes and thought, ‘I don’t like that energy!'” It takes more than that to let you down. Garnett commented on his observations of the Celtics.
Garnett notes how Pierce will become more stressed before important matches, arguing that there are “two types of P”.
