Ilze Melngailis began her career as director of research at Harvard Medical School and Children’s Hospital Boston in September 1990 and May 1992. From 1993 to 1994, she worked for the Latvian Association for Family Planning and Sexual Health as a founder, CEO in Riga, Latvia.
In 1996, Ilze joined Planned Parenthood International/Western Hemisphere Region as a sustainability analyst. She worked in that position until 1998. For two years (2001-2003) she also served as a consultant for international programs for women and youth at Nezavisna Consultnica.
She worked as a senior marketing and promotional consultant for Meridian Group International from 2003 to 2006.
Additionally, Ilze joined GBCHealth as Director of Corporate Strategy and Member Services. She later became Vice President of Partnership and Impact Initiatives.
Since 2012, Ilze has served as Senior Director of Global Partnerships and Senior Director of Engagement with the United Nations and the Private Sector for the Business Council.
In 1990, Ilze earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from McGill University in Canada. She received her MBA in Marketing, Strategy from the Yale School of Management.

Yucel is also the founder/president/creative director of Reason-Y. He previously worked for Blue Flame as creative director and art director at Lotas Minard Patton McIver from 1992 to 1999.
