Real Housewives of New York City star Sai De Silva is all that she is thanks to her children. After having her first child, Sai wanted to share her newfound happiness with other “like-minded cool moms.” Over time, she started writing blogs where she also showcased her daughter’s fashion. And before she knew it, she was on BuzzFeed!

Who are the RHONY Sai De Silva children?
Sai De Silva has two children, London Scout and Rio Dash, with her husband David Craig. Ironically, they are her inspiration. “Motherhood is about going from the rough to the glamorous,” she said.
But on that note, Sai admits that she doesn’t really know how to balance work and motherhood. She goes step by step and she does the best she can. And given her job (blogging), she really had some flexibility with her schedule. “I go to the office when the kids are already in school and kindergarten, and I try to leave the office at 5 whenever I can,” she explained.
Plus, with her kids in mind, she does her best to stick to her schedule and leave work emails when it’s time to drop them off. She noted: “Your children will become what you are; so I know what you want them to be.”
And all this is possible thanks to the husband who helps with the children.
For those who don’t know, Sai and her husband David have been together for over a decade. In fact, they dated for the first 8 years before they got married. Their courthouse wedding took place in Brooklyn on June 16, 2017, it was “awful!”
According to the star, the person they married made up the words herself and was wearing jeans. “I need it again,” she said.
So what led to this wedding?
According to David, he immediately fell in love with Sai because he thought she was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. He loved how she was so confident, funny, and most importantly, she shared many of the same views on life and things. Some eight years later and after Rio’s birth, they finally decided to get married.
Unfortunately, we’ll probably never get to see David in RHONY because he likes his privacy. And Sai doesn’t care at all. “In a world where we share everything, it’s nice to have something private in your life. It keeps me sane and I also think having a bit of mystery is fun,” he said.
But while David can be shy, he’s very invested when it comes to his family. Also, he’s actually very open in social situations. It’s just that Sai’s job involved being in the spotlight so much that they had previously made the permanent decision that she would be in the background to show kids that social media is a job for moms.
Today, Sai is the founder and creative director of the clothing brand Scout The City and she is living her dream. Still, sometimes the star feels that she no longer has privacy.

Sai De Silva gave birth to her eldest daughter, London, on September 6, 2012. Immediately after her birth, Sai began blogging and eventually rose to fame.

“I had a lot of fun learning about more sustainable ways to recycle clothing and using the power of children to raise donations for Project Learning Tree. I love seeing these kinds of initiatives that teach kids about the power of mindful action,” Sai captioned an IG video of the day.
Now, London is a teenager. That means she’d be at sleepovers and school camps. But to Sai, she will always be her mother’s little girl. “I miss my girlfriend while she is at a sleepover camp. Now I follow all the camp photos of her that are uploaded daily,” Sai once wrote on IG.

Sai De Silva gave birth to son Rio in April 2017, almost 5 years after London was born.
In 2022, I was in kindergarten. And as for Sai, “she’s currently approving Rio’s friends this fall based on which parent (she) thinks she’ll drink wine with me at the games.”
Surprisingly, Sai’s children never hesitated to go to school. “They could totally rock boarding school style, but I’m having a harder time pulling off the helicopter dad role, so they’re sticking with me.” He loves the way these kids get excited about the back-to-school season and have their own personalities through their styles,” Sai explained.
