It was in 2009 when the first season of The Chase aired on British television. Fast forward to 2013, the show launched on GSN and now, as of March 2022, The Chase is here on ABC.
However, this time around, Mark Labbett aka The Beast will not be returning to the show. Instead, at Mark’s recommendation, he was replaced by a new face, Victoria Groce, nicknamed The Queen.
Mark Labbett was reportedly forced to leave the show after ABC decided not to renew his contract.
He also voluntarily left the show along with Mark Ken Jennings. This prompted ABC to bring in two new chasers Buzzy Cohen (The Stunner) and Brandon Blackwell (Lightning Bolt) for season 3 of The Chase.
When we last saw Quizzer Victoria, she was chatting with Darragh Ennis on Twitter after her first tweet: “Not sure of the exact rules, but a quiz can do a few things to put distance between them and the trivia bear, then they post the trivia, release it, and see if the gap holds.”
To which Darragh replied: “This is brilliant. From now on, the Beast is Trivia Bear as far as I’m concerned.”

His last recorded job was writing about food allergies, celiac disease, and restricted diets for Verywell Fit. During her time there, she wrote diet and science articles for Gluten Free and More (formerly Living Without Magazine) and Mental Floss.
