“We just went, like, you saw additional contestants come down and help them. You shoot so much material for this show and inevitably certain things have to be cut based on how the show is going.” So Tayshia and I got the call and they said, ‘Hey, we’re so sorry, but with the editing and everything that’s going on, we’re going to have to delete the date, it just doesn’t make sense.’ It’s totally cool, we had a lot of fun doing it.”
She quipped: “Yeah, we really were there, it wasn’t just a hologram of people there, it just wasn’t streaming.”
In January, photos of two Nemacolin bachelors surfaced online.
“When we had to talk to me, I asked, ‘How do you feel? Because you’ve never done this before. It can be overwhelming for someone just coming off of it, let alone getting used to everything and just being a guide.” It’s pretty hard,” Fletcher told us of his conversation with James. “And great, like, don’t get me wrong, it’s amazing. [too].”
Fletcher added that he thought the 29-year-old James did an “outstanding job” as the star of season 25.
“[He’s owned] the simple fact: ‘Yeah, I’ve never done this before.’ I think he’s a total hoot,” she informed us, referring to the fact that James didn’t appear on The Bachelor before he was announced as the bachelor. “Meeting him and looking at him, I said yes, I think he could be one of the best bachelors. that we have had. And that’s hard to do. It’s hard to do when you’ve never done it. [I’m] I am very excited for him. He’s a great guy.”
While Bachelor viewers have to tune in to find out if James is engaged to one of his fellow contestants, Fletcher and Rodgers, who got engaged during the finale in August 2016, gave us their post-show advice to couples across the nation. of Bachelors.
“I never watched the series,” said the 32-year-old soccer analyst. “I understood what happened from my own perspective and that it was all I wanted. But it’s hard not to see Twitter, to see the headlines. So for the record, because we’ve wrestled with this, as much as you guys can, I know it’s impossible in This weather, [however ] try to block it out and try to lean on your partner as you learn about each other. You learn to fight, you learn to convey things you couldn’t do in dreamland. [or] in a bubble.”
Rodgers continued, “I feel like that’s the hard part — putting on the blinders, leaning directly on your spouse, and just talking about everything… Our first year was very difficult because we hadn’t figured it out yet. We didn’t.” We don’t know how to communicate, we didn’t know how to fight healthy and be good on the opposite end. We didn’t know how to block it.”
While Fletcher noted that Bachelor viewers are “very supportive” and “incredible” lovers, he added: “Everybody knows there’s a lot of flak and flak. And also that she experienced that in the capacity that the show hosts and she does as well. “For the first time with your partner, I think it could be a little more challenging. My advice to him would be to wait for it, know it’s coming soon, trust your spouse, and try your best not to listen to outside noise.”
We did everything wrong. We did it right. We’ve done everything in between, so we can also be good advice.”
