But in sMothered season 4, the cast took the mother-daughter relationship to a whole new level: they share bath water and even the guys they date. That! And none other than Ashley Hefner dated the same guys (twice) as her mom.

Season 4 cast as a mother, Ashley Hefner was unusually close to her mother Cathy. The two even bought their house next door to each other in a Jonesborough subdivision and fenced off their yards to make it “one big yard.”
And it wasn’t just Ashley’s mother who lived with her. Ashley’s aunt and grandmother also lived in the same neighborhood.
However, mother and daughter were not always so close. The two took their relationship to the next level only after Ashley graduated from college and became a young mother. Since then, the duo have dated and have also shared the same nipple piercings and tattoos.
According to Ashley, her first body modification experience was Cathy’s idea. But even though they both decided to get flowers tattooed, Cathy ended up looking like an av*gina, which they still laugh about to this day.
So how did you join sMothered? Well, while in Tampa, Florida, Ashley’s family met a producer whose friend was a producer on sMothered. So they “left one thing for the others”, and the producers asked them to send them their biographies in which they told “something about (themselves) and (their) closeness”.
“It all happened in Florida, and then they found out we were moving as a pack to Jonesborough and they thought it was cool,” Cathy recalled.
That means the duo didn’t actually start filming the series until they were in Jonesborough.

So now they are being reviewed before any date.
Also, another problem Ashley had with dating was that her boyfriend had a crush on her mom. That! “Every guy I’ve dated or brought home is either afraid of my mom or in love with her. So that was the problem,” Ashley said.
Children of Ashley Hefner
Ashley Hefner gave birth to her first child, Carson, while she was still in college.
A few years later, on May 22, 2012, he welcomed his daughter Lily.
