Lindsay Carmine joined Survivor 43 to fulfill her 20-year dream. She sees herself as an outsider due to her age and her perceived southern hospitality from her. She has been applying for the Survivor competition since she was 20 years old.
“But probably seven years ago I started very actively applying after seeing my mother get breast cancer. Then I had two life-threatening miscarriages. And I was ready to do something for myself. I supported my husband in law school and established her career. I gave birth to two children and launched my career,” Lindsay said. “And I’m the type of person who likes to give to others. I have a servant’s heart, so I’m always doing things for other people. And the time has come for me to finally do something for myself.”
He introduced Lindsay’s mother to Survivor. He sat her down for the first episode and said, “Lindsay, I have something to show you. There is this game that is perfect for you.” She has been following the series ever since. Lindsay adds: “I knew deep in my soul and in the core of my body that I would play survived one day. He didn’t know when it would happen, but he knew it would. I’m part of all the sponsoring groups and I have a Wigler Wombats hat. I’m at three survived fantasy pools. eat, breathe and sleep survived. So I’m very excited to be here.”
Speaking of a winner she identifies with, Lindsay named Natalie Anderson and Cirie as someone who didn’t win.
Lindsay adds that working as a frontline RN was the most challenging thing she’s ever done in her life and something that prepared her for the show.

And I Knew It Soon after, we began our happily ever after. I love you @ajcarmine14, my eternal Valentine.”
A year earlier, in August 2021, Lindsay shared: “Over 19 years together and they still have ❤️ @ajcarmine14.” The married couple is the father of two children; an older daughter named Madeline Grace and a son named Charlie. Madeline turned 12 in February 2022, while Charlie turned 10 in October 2021.
