Camila Milagros in Netflix’s Projecting Miami
Netflix’s Designing Miami featured two skilled interior designers, Ray and Eilyn Jimenez, who were also husband and wife, helping clients in Miami transform their homes from drab to opulent.
However, even though the duo were married, they didn’t always see eye to eye when it came to interior design. They were competitors! Ray tried to please his clients with a more maximalist approach, while his wife Eilyn believed that a minimalist aesthetic was all they needed.
Not surprisingly, they operated from different companies.
So our star Camila Milagros was from Team Eilyn – she interned at Sire Design for over 2 years. But even though she’s an intern, Eilyn said that Camila, like everyone else on her team, has played an important role in getting the company to where she is today.
“Latin Americans have such a strong will to prove themselves. We are smart women, we know what we want and we know that we can do everything with a smile on our face,” she said.
As for Camila, she was just grateful to Eilyn for guiding her and allowing her to be on the show. The last time we saw them in episode three, Eilyn was walking Camila through the latest project in Fort Lauderdale.

Also joining Camila on the Sire Design team for Designing Miami’s inaugural season are Valentina Leon (Lead Interior Designer), Karina Perlaza (Lead Interior Designer), Andrea Ritter (Architectural Draftsman) and María Gabriel Hernández (Architectural Draftsman). .
Among them, Valentina has been with Ray’s company for more than three years, Karina for more than two, and Andrea and Camila recently joined the team.

Camila Milagros began her career in 2017 as “Design Intern” at ROBERT SOLDO + FERNANDEZ BRENA DESIGN and “AIA Senior Interior Coordinator” at the American Institute of Architects.
In the same year, she also founded Moodyhouse Vintage, an online lifestyle store focused on fashion and design, with her friend Violette.
The following year, Camila began working as a “FIU Interior Architecture Graduate Assistant” at Florida International University. And in August 2019, she joined HBA / Hirsch Bedner Associates as a “Design Intern” before finally moving to Designing Miami in October 2020.
