The main industrial emitters of volatile organic compounds and nitrogen oxides are also subject to restrictions and must control their emissions “as prescribed by their prefectural orders, issued under the environmental protection code related to the ICPE regulation” (Environmental Classified Plant), details the prefecture in press release.
