A viral report that Nigerian pop star Dbanj kidnapped Seyitan Babatayo’s wife after she accused him of rape has turned out to be a false report.
Seyitan was never arrested

Seyitan Babataya’s claims against D’banj sparked outrage on Nigerian social media in June 2020.
According to Segun Awosanya, a human rights activist providing an update on the allegations, said Seyitan was never detained after Nigerian police denied detaining Seyitan.
