Jules was living with her grandparents when her mother died. Immediately after Morgan’s death, Dain Pape appeared on the scene and asked a Marin County judge for full custody of Jules.
However, Jules’s grandparents claimed that Dain was unfit to be a father because he had no income and “lived in his mobile home”. Unfortunately, the judge awarded full custody of Jules to his father, Dain Pape.
When Morgan passed away, a custody dispute erupted over Jules. His grandparents (also known as Morgan and Guy’s parents) originally took care of him. However, Dain Pape’s father sought full custody of his son, he said. ATM.
However, TMZ reported that even after the court verdict in Dain’s favor, Jules was not returned to him. Pape claimed that Jules was vacationing with his uncle at a remote lake in Northern California. He also said that he avoided any trips to the lake to avoid any conflict with the Fieri family.
As of now, Dain is Jules’ legal guardian. However, we don’t know how this issue was resolved.
