Nigerian singer Davido announced on Twitter on Friday that his fiancee Chioma has tested positive for the deadly coronavirus officially known as COVID-19.
In the singer’s statement, my fiancé’s results were positive, while all 31 others tested were negative, including our baby.
“Hello everyone! I recently returned from the US after canceling my tour. My fiancée Chioma also recently returned from London with our baby. We have had no symptoms and we are both still feeling perfectly fine, but due to our recent travel history , I decided to take it easy,” Davido said.

“Close associates we recently came in contact with for the COVID-19 test on March 25. Unfortunately, my fiance’s results were positive while the other 31 tested were negative, including our baby.

Davido said: “However, we are perfectly fine and she is still showing no symptoms.”

“She is now in quarantine and I have also been completely self-isolating for at least 14 days,” Davido said.
