Ahnu turns a new page in the new year. Starting January 1, the shoemaker will discontinue its men’s shoe collection and focus on a women’s shoe line. The company has partnered with Teva to produce the new Ahnu by Teva collection, which is available on Teva’s website.
Ahnu footwear may now be sold by Teva, but that doesn’t mean the company’s most popular styles are gone. The new Ahnu by Teva line includes the Sugarpine and Montara boot styles. The Sugarpine is a classic over the ankle hiking boot with a Vibram sole and a waterproof leather and lightweight mesh upper. There’s also a waterproof membrane and internal antimicrobial treatment to keep your feet clean and dry. Comfortable and durable, the Sugarpines feature Ahnu’s Numentum Hike technology, providing the sneaker-like fit and stability every hiker demands.
Teva also offers the Ahna Montara, a lightweight, waterproof boot designed for rugged terrain. Available as a full size hiking boot and a low top hiking shoe, the Montara features a custom Vibram sole to provide additional grip and Ahnu’s Numentum insole for added stability. The Montara boots feature nubuck leather uppers and eVent waterproofing, while the low-top Montana II features full-grain leather for durability. Last but not least is the flagship North Peak Event hiking boot, a tall boot that will take you from one rocky peak to the next. Like the Montara, the North Peak Event features eVent waterproofing and a waterproof nubuck leather upper. Built to last and keep you dry on the trail, the North Peak Boots feature Vibram’s ultra-grip DuraTrek rubber sole, molded nylon sleeve and pigskin lining.
Boots aren’t the only styles in the new Ahnu by Teva line. The collection also includes stylish Markam Latitude Leather sandals and Sugar Venture Lace sneakers. The Markam Latitude Leather shoe is designed for dressing up or dressing down, while the Sugar Venture Lace is designed for kicking around the house and running errands around town. All of the updated Ahnu by Teva shoes are available now on Teva’s website with prices ranging from $129 for the Sugar Venture Lace sneakers to $199 for the North Peak Event boots.
