AN optical illusion is leaving people confused and “disoriented” and Facebook users are completely divided on what is shown in the image.
The image shows what many believe to be a man with a backpack walking through a snow-covered forest, but some see a cute black dog instead.

While many people might swear that the image shows a person from behind, it’s actually an image of a black poodle running towards the camera.
At first glance, the dog’s tail appears to be the back of a man’s head, while its face is easily mistaken for a sack on its back.
Hundreds of viewers realized that their initial view of the image was incorrect after constantly analyzing it.
One person commented: “I had to take my glasses off to see it.”

And another nodded: “I had to stare at it before I could see.”
One user, who immediately saw the dog, wrote: “Why can’t I see the man? I only see a dog.”
But one person was not convinced by the image and insisted that it was actually a man.
They said: “It’s a guy in a sick jacket and hat running into the woods. I can see that he is a person when he walks.”

Others thought it was clear, with one person writing: “I wonder how the people who saw the running man could explain the fact that the running man had a giant dog’s head sticking out of them.”
“This is ridiculous, all most people can see is the dog,” another person agreed.
Fabulous spoke with Lee Chambers, an environmental psychologist and wellness consultant, who found out what your answer says about your personality.
“Where your eyes first focus on an image certainly plays a role in how you perceive the image, but your current psychological state can also play a role in whether you see a dog approaching or a human running away,” he said.

“If you’re worried right now, you’re much more likely to see a man running away, looking at the image from a threatening perspective.
“You’ll also be more likely to be pessimistic or less trusting of others, to see something moving away rather than closer, or that the person may be acting sinister.”
But, he said, if you’re in a “place of quiet trust” right now, you’re more likely to see the dogs’ facial features moving toward you.
He continued: “If you’re an optimistic person, you’re more likely to see something come into your life and see the dog and embrace the snowy vista that surrounds it.”
