Mind-blowing optical illusion reveals how easily your eyes are tricked – can you see the TRUE colours?

THINK you see a pink dog and a lilac cat in this picture? Think again.

People can’t understand that the two are actually the same color.

They are both the same color.

It turns out that the narrow lines trick our eyes into seeing two different colors.

Professor David Novickwho creates all kinds of optical illusions, posted several on social media.

This is apparently known as the munker illusion, which occurs when horizontal stripes are of different colors and intersect the objects shown in the image.

“The Munker illusion appears to be a function of the framing colors, which tend to tint the center [shape],” He explained.

“The apparent color of the center circle is a mixture of the color of the foreground box and the color of the circle.”

And the more it is reduced, the more the effect increases.

Try to block a narrow space with two fingers on the screen so that only a small part of the dog and cat are visible and you should notice that they are the same color.

If you like optical illusions, definitely don’t miss this one, which reveals a color that your computer screen can’t show.

The color is known as ‘true cyan’.

There is also the so-called ‘super illusion’ that makes you see things that do not exist.

The trippy animation seems to show the stickman climbing stairs and jumping, but your eyes are very deceiving.

Meanwhile, the second of the two elephants on the seesaw makes people hear a thump even though the video is noiseless.
