Mind-bending optical illusion reveals something unexpected when you shake your head – can you see it?

THIS amazing optical illusion will literally make you shake your head.

At first glance, the strange image appears to be made up of black and white vertical lines, but there is something hidden behind it.

The image is revealed simply by moving the head from side to side.

It seems that Dr. Michelle Dickinson first tweeted the optical illusion in January 2019, but it’s making the rounds again and captivating people.

He posted the image with the caption: “You can only see this optical illusion if you shake your head” and added a smiley emoji.

Holding your head still, all you can see are black and white lines, but with a simple movement of the head, what looks like a cartoon cat in a suit and tie suddenly appears before your eyes.

Dr. Dickinson’s post has garnered over 3,600 likes, as well as hundreds of comments.

One wrote: “Here I am shaking my head like crazy at my desk.”

Another said: “I can’t believe I was shaking my head at this… It worked after all! And yes, shaking the phone is a better option… Tsssssskkk!”

Many others, however, said they could see the image immediately without having to move their head or their phone.

Although most people thought they saw a cat, not everyone was convinced by suggestions that it might be a rabbit, with one joker saying it was a zebra.

Earlier this month, another optical illusion took over the internet and left people scratching their heads.

A Reddit user posted a photo of what at first glance appeared to be four eggs, or were there none?

The rather innocuous photo appears to show four eggs stacked on top of each other, but a closer look reveals what could be two pairs of bare legs.

Commenters were split on what the image was showing, with many thinking it was just some eggs, while others thought something X-rated was going on.

Others were simply confused.

Manubibi chimed in: “Uh, I can see it, but I’m just ignoring some parts of the image. If I saw it without any explanation, I’d say right away that I don’t know exactly what the image is, honestly.”

It comes after a stunning optical illusion showing horses on a mountain peak sparked a dispute between its creator and scientists.

Bev Doolitte’s portrait of five patchy-skinned horses standing together on a snowy ledge has been a mainstay on the National Institute for Environmental Health Services (NIEHS) website for some time.

In it, what appear to be four white and brown horses and a foal are grouped together and blend with the brown background of rock and snow, giving the image an optical illusion.

But scholars say Doolitte’s painting actually has seven horses, not five as its creator claims.

According to the group, the painting consists of seven horses, including some partial horses, such as the horse’s head and rump.
