A terrible incident happened on Saturday in Belgium when Arne Espeel (25) competed for Winkel Sport B against Westrozebeke.

But before the surprised look of teammates and spectators, the footballer collapsed right after the celebration. Medics rushed onto the field to save the star as emergency services gathered on the scene.
However, the hospital declared Espeel dead. The seventh row match has been cancelled.
The horrific scenes were witnessed by Espeel’s parents and his brother Aaron, who was sitting on the substitute bench for Winkel Sport.
Cause of death of Arne Espeel
Arne Espeel, a 25-year-old Belgian goalkeeper who played for Winkel Sport B, died immediately after saving a penalty kick when attempts to revive him failed after he collapsed on the pitch.
Emergency personnel gave Espeel every chance to survive and even used a defibrillator, but he died shortly after arriving at the hospital.
The match took place at the club’s home in Sint-Eloois-Winkel, West Flanders province, Belgium.
They were participating in a match of the second provincial league of West Brabant when the tragedy occurred.
