Brian Szasz is the stepson of Hamish Harding. He was also the first to confirm that his father was on board when he went missing on June 18. “Hamish my stepdad is lost in thought of him about the submarine and prays the rescue mission is successful,” he wrote in an FB post.
Days later, Brian took to his IG to record a series of emotional videos about his story, just hours before the ship’s breathing air supply ran out. “This whole situation is a fucking nightmare though, everything about it, especially what Hamish is going through down there, is terrible,” he said, before adding that the situation has left him sleepless.
“I really appreciate the love and support,” he continued. “I haven’t slept in days, it’s not about me, I’m obviously too worried about my mother and the situation.”
But unfortunately, the world wasn’t buying his “concern.” Even Cardi B, who realized Brian was at a Blink-182 concert just one day after the submarine went missing, slammed Brian on her IG story. “One of the billionaires, his stepson is at a Blink-182 concert, and people are like, ‘So what is he supposed to do, be sad at home? Should I search myself? Yes,” the musician said to the camera.
She added: “You should be in the house sad, crying for me, you should be right by the phone, waiting to hear news about me. ‘Isn’t it sad that you’re a fucking billionaire and nobody cares about you?’ It’s like you’re missing out, and the whores are ready to shake their asses at concerts. That’s crazy! I’d rather be broke and poor than know I’m loved.”
In his defense, Brian turned to another IG story, saying, “Going to a Blink-182 concert, it wasn’t like I was having much fun.” He even called Cardi B a “total bitch” before deleting her entire Twitter account.
Apparently, Cardi then hit back by saying she was “looking for clout” and calling him “insensitive.”
