Activision eventually added the ability to earn one-hit kills with certain snipers as part of it. Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 Season 3 This was a much-needed update that makes heavy weapons more viable. This comes with a big caveat though, as the only way to get a one-hit kill is by using explosive rounds on a small selection of snipers, which absolutely reduces the bullet speed of the weapon.
This makes it extremely difficult to hit your shots, so inexperienced players won’t really take advantage of the newly added one-shot capabilities. However, there is a workaround that everyone should try as it is a viable option that works well over long distances.
Rather than trying to learn how to guide your targets with one-shot snipers, I recommend using the Signal 50, a semi-automatic sniper that fires incredibly fast. Its rate of fire is around 111 RPM, which is more than twice as fast as other single shot sniper rifles. You can’t get a one-hit kill with Signal 50 (an enemy at full health), but it allows you to fire two shots in the time it takes to fire one with an FJX Imperium or MCPR-300.
In most cases, you can secure a takedown (or knockdown) with just two hits, as long as you land at least one kick to the chest.
This is a game changer, especially if you pull the trigger quickly. Due to the Signal 50’s high rate of fire, you can deal more consistent damage compared to other snipers. If you’re looking for a recommended version, this is what I swear by.

Another important factor is that instead of using explosive bullets (which damage bullet speed), you can use high velocity bullets, which makes it easier to shoot from afar. This version also prioritizes ADS, allowing you to play more aggressively.
