HGTV’s Veronica Valencia met her husband 11 years ago in New York and they fell in love almost immediately. Their paths crossed when they were working on a design program. “He was the production manager of the show,” Veronica told HGTV. “When the show ended, I said, ‘Come to LA and I promise we can perform together!'”
After three months of dating, Veronica had to move back to her hometown of Los Angeles, California. At her last dinner before she left her, “we talked about our future plans, had great seafood in town, and talked about how we both always feel like our guardian angels are around us.”
Not long after, they became business partners with designer hunters. Veronica added: “The best part of working together is that Kris and I have a lot of combined professional experience. The hard part now is managing your professional life and being parents. I can’t remember the last time we went on a date!”
