Nollywood actress Funke Adesiyan has been appointed aide to First Lady Aisha Buhari.
His appointment, including the other five with immediate effect, was announced on Wednesday after President Muhammadu Buhari approved the appointments.
Funke assumes the role of the First Lady’s personal assistant for household and social events.
Actress Obinrin Alea was the southwest coordinator for Ibrahim Shekarau’s 2011 presidential campaign.
She was a People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the Oyo State House of Assembly seat. Funke joined the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2018.
The actress attended the opening ceremony of the ninth National Assembly.
