Adriana Davidson’s body has undergone an autopsy by the Washtenaw County Coroner.
An online petition criticizing the police department for its handling of the disappearance and death of Adriana Davidson, a 15-year-old student at Ann Arbor Pioneer High School, has garnered nearly 7,000 signatures.
After being missing for more than two days, Davidson was found dead Monday afternoon on the grounds of the high school.
Ann Arbor police and Pioneer High School administrators have come under fire for their handling of Davidson’s disappearance in a Change.org petition, which appears to have been started by one of his classmates.
The AAPS community must come together at this time, focus on supporting Addy’s family, and ensure that all Pioneer students, staff, and the Ann Arbor community continue to support Addy and her family.

The Washtenaw County Medical Examiner performed an autopsy on Adriana Davidson, but the results were not immediately released.
According to an online petition, the changes are said to be necessary to address students’ mental health issues.

Ann Arbor Public Schools Superintendent Jeanice Kerr Swift said in a statement Tuesday that district staff began working with the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office as soon as Davidson went missing and continued throughout the weekend.

Ann Arbor Public Schools Superintendent Jeanice Kerr Swift acknowledged that everyone is grieving the loss of Addy and that anxiety can sometimes lead people to spread rumors and false information. She went on to say that they needed to keep the focus on the tragic loss of little Addy.
Adriana Davidson’s parents are devastated
Adriana Davidson’s parents are grieving their daughter and devastated after learning the truth.
Davidson’s friends say they last saw the Scio Township teen around 11 a.m. that day outside Pioneer High School, while her family says they last spoke to her around 9 a.m. Friday.
Although her family reported her missing early Saturday morning, her body was not found until Monday afternoon, apparently under the bleachers.

According to the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office, which is investigating her disappearance, and the Ann Arbor Police Department, which is investigating her death, it does not appear that there was any foul play.

According to Addy’s brother, she is extremely intelligent. She had cardboard and scissors to make hands, and she was seven years old. She simply has an unwavering love for animals and keeps her cat close to her.
