STUNNING footage shows the moment hundreds of schoolchildren rioted in Manchester city center after their summer break.
Police were reported to have been egged on, while tram lines were also diverted as a result of the end-of-term chaos.

Images circulating online show a heavy police presence on Market Street and Piccadilly Gardens.
Video footage shows a large group of teenagers congregating in the area as shocked onlookers look on.
McDonald’s was also forced to temporarily close its doors when hundreds of young people gathered, some of whom allegedly threw eggs.
Store owners locked the doors and posted security guards outside to try to protect their property.
Manchester Metrolink tweeted: “Due to an incident near Market Street/Piccadilly Gardens, all services are operating via Exchange Square.
“No transportation will go through Market Street or Shudehill. We apologize for any inconvenience caused to your trip.”
Greater Manchester Police have warned visitors to the city about “problem children”.
Manchester councilor Pat Karney condemned the scenes and vowed those responsible would be punished.
He said: “It’s not fun at all and it could hurt people. We will check our CCTV cameras and the cameras at the tram stations.”
“We will throw the books at them if we identify them.”
According to MEN, a man with a boombox began playing music to loud cheers from animated teenagers.
The police then asked the man to stop using the loudspeaker, prompting an angry reaction among the partying schoolchildren.
Then, allegedly, the cops were showered with eggs and shakes, forcing them to take cover.
