The Nigerian Actors Association has declared that no marriage is perfect and warned Tonto Dikeh about his marriage debacle, which has taken a different turn on social media in recent days. Prince Ifeanyi Dike, chairman of the board of the Nigerian Screen Actors Guild, who warned Tonto Dikeh on behalf of the group, said no marriage is perfect and his recent action explains why men fear marrying actresses. Speaking to newstimesafrica, he said;
“Silly Dike is exhibiting bad behavior that we will no longer tolerate. What you should realize is that every marriage has its problems.” No marriage is perfect. Those problems are private. It is highly inappropriate of you to portray us badly. There are so many actors who have problems with their marriages without the public being involved.
“His actions do not speak well of the industry. We are not interested in your private affairs; rather, we are concerned about her attitude, which reflects negatively on other actresses. Such actions portray the industry as holding frivolous ladies. That’s why men are afraid to marry actresses. Thank God we have good examples in the industry. If you’re looking for a sensation, you should be looking for something else to blast. Honestly, the Board of Directors is not satisfied with her and if she continues like this we will sanction her. We do not encourage bad behavior.”
