Disney Dreamlight Valley Trophy and Achievement Guide

Here are all the trophies and achievements. Disney Valley of Dreams Light and how to unlock each one.

Dreamlight Master

Unlock all other trophies in the game to win this one.

This platinum trophy is only available for PlayStation players and will appear as soon as you complete all other missions below.

Angler

To get this trophy or achievement, you will need to catch 1800 fish and claim the reward on the Dreamlight card.

Catching even a few fish can take a long time, so catching 1800 is quite a task. You’ll probably get half way through this milestone if you’re just playing the game normally and completing quests or raising the appropriate fish to meet the favorite food criteria for some creatures (namely crocodiles and foxes).

One tip that might come in handy is to go to Dazzle Beach and just fish in the water without looking for pools to fish in. While you’ll find a lot of sea grass this way (which doesn’t count towards your catch total), you’ll also find plenty of low-level fish. Since you’ll only have to hit the reel button once to capture each one, you might find things go a little faster this way.

Chef

To get this trophy or achievement, you will need to cook 900 dishes and then claim the reward on the Dreamlight card.

You can cook on the stove by combining any ingredient with a piece of charcoal. You’ll need to do a lot of cooking for quests and completing your list of recipes, so many of your meals should come naturally throughout your time in the game. However, if you want to get to 900 quickly, use only one vegetable or fruit to make a one-star dish until you reach the milestone.

Best Friends To get this trophy or achievement, you’ll need to become best friends with 15 of your villagers and then claim the reward on the Dreamlight Card.

In order to become best friends with a villager, you need to set their friendship to rank 10. This is accomplished in two main ways: giving gifts and hanging out with them. By giving them their three favorite gifts every day and spending time with them doing whatever tasks they specialize in, you’ll eventually achieve best friend status just by playing the game. If you want this to happen fast, collect lots of flowers and give them to the characters you want to level up. It’s a bit slow, but it’s faster than waiting 24 hours.

Gardener To get this trophy or achievement, you will need to harvest 4500 vegetables and then claim the reward on the Dreamlight card.

This can be achieved by a natural progression over a long enough time, but you can speed it up exponentially by digging up a large garden and choosing one of two methods.

Your first option is to plant and harvest lettuce, which only takes three minutes to grow. This can be a bit tedious and requires a lot of micromanagement, but it can speed up the process if you’re trying to earn a trophy or achievement in one (albeit long) session.

Your other option is to plant tomatoes. Although they take 25 minutes to grow, you’ll harvest three tomatoes per plant, making this method more efficient if you’re willing to do it over multiple sessions.

Miner

To get this trophy or achievement, you will need to mine 1800 gems and claim the reward on the Dreamlight card.

Getting 1800 gems is quite a task and there is no meaningful way to speed things up. You will get a lot of them as you farm them for quests, but it won’t be enough to complete the milestone requirement. Just make sure you open each of the biomes before you start farming this for a trophy or achievement, then go through each one and come back again and again. It will take many, many hours for this to happen, so take breaks!

Construction Worker To get this trophy or achievement, you will need to build 30 houses for friends and claim the reward on the Dreamlight card.

You will build houses for friends by following the quests in the main story and the quests you get as you meet and progress through new Disney characters. As the game is currently in Early Access, this trophy or achievement cannot be earned until a total of 30 characters have been implemented.

Valley Helper To get this trophy or achievement, you will need to unlock each biome and then claim the reward on the Dreamlight card.

Unlocking all the biomes requires you to acquire a large amount of Dreamlight, which you will naturally do as you forage for food, harvest crops, mine nodes, fish, complete quests, and more. It will take some time, but when you have completed most of the main quests and some character quests, you will most likely unlock all the biomes without any problem.

The price of each biome and its corresponding unlock price are listed below.

  • Plaza: Unlocked as part of the story
  • Peaceful Meadow – Unlocked as part of the story
  • Dazzling Beach: 1000 Dreamy Lights
  • Forest of Valor: 3000 Dreamlight
  • Trusted Glade: 5000 Dreamlight
  • Sunlit Plateau: 7000 Dream Light
  • Icy Heights: 10,000 Dreamlight
  • Forgotten Lands: 15,000 Dreamlight

goofy investor

To get this trophy or achievement, you will need to build all of Goofy’s stands and then claim the reward on the Dreamlight card.

Goofy has a stand in need of repair in every biome except the Plaza, and repairing it will give you access to seeds and ingredients, as well as a new place to sell your own goods. Just walk up to the sign on each one and pay Scrooge coins to fix up the cabin.

Forced Duty To get this trophy or achievement, you will need to complete 1100 Dreamlight Duties and then claim the reward on the Dreamlight Card.

Dreamlight Duties are low-effort, low-reward ways to earn Dreamlight, often asking you to do simple things like cook a meal or change your clothes. You can have six active at once, so when you complete one of them, be sure to claim the Dreamlight Card reward to gain access to another new quest. While it takes minimal effort to obtain them, it will still take you a long time to complete 1100 of them, so consider producing them efficiently while playing the game normally.

Builder

To get this trophy or achievement, you will need to fully upgrade your home and then claim the reward on the Dreamlight card.

The ability to improve your home will come naturally during Scrooge’s quest line. When you are able to upgrade, go to the sign next to his house and request that the job be done by paying Scrooge a large fee. Note that only exterior upgrades count toward this total, so if your goal is simply to complete the milestone, don’t bother updating the interior with new rooms until you do.

The cost of each upgrade is below.

  • Update 1: 2000 Star Coins
  • Update 2: 20,000 Star Coins
  • Update 3: 75,000 Star Coins

Generous To get this trophy or achievement, you will need to give your friends 540 gifts and then claim the reward on the Dreamlight card.

You can give gifts to any of your villagers at any time simply by speaking to them and selecting “I have something for you!” By giving gifts, they level up and each of them can receive a total of three rotating favorite gifts each day. However, you don’t have to give them their favorite gifts for them to count toward this trophy or milestone.

This will no doubt come naturally to many players over the life of the game, but you can speed things up by giving any character whatever items you have left over. However, flowers are easy to grow and usually offer decent character level boosts, so if you want to get the most out of the process, go for it.

Banker To get this trophy or achievement, you will need to earn a total of 1.8 million Star Coins and then claim the reward on the Dreamlight Card.

Getting to 1.8 million Star Coins might seem like a daunting task, and it is, to be fair, but it’s not as bad as you might think. Just sell everything you can to Goofy, including unnecessary ingredients, crafting materials, and fish. When possible, cook your ingredients (especially fish) into the highest possible star meals before selling them, and you’ll end up with enough coins to make even Scrooge jealous.

Chatterbox To get this trophy or achievement, you will need to have a total of 1000 daily discussions and then claim the reward in the Dreamlight tab.

Daily discussions are quick little conversations that you can have with each character every day. Approach all the characters in your village at least once a day to talk to them and get credits towards the milestone. Of course, with the limited characters available at the moment, it’s likely to be months before this happens.

Thorn Remover To get this trophy or achievement, you will need to remove 3000 Night Thorns and then claim the reward on the Dreamlight card.

Nightthorns are evil blasts that you have to take out when you reach a new biome. However, you will likely end up with a little more than the total cleared when you unlock and clear each biome. However, new Nightthorns will spawn in random biomes throughout the valley every day, so be sure to go around and take them out. Since you have to clear so many and so few resets each day, it will probably take you months to complete, which means it will most likely be the last trophy or achievement you get.

Photographer To get this trophy or achievement, you will need to take a total of 50 photos and then claim the reward on the Dreamlight card.

The description for this one says you need to take 180 photos, but it’s actually unlocked by taking 50. Completing this milestone can be cleared in just a few minutes by selecting a camera from the tool wheel and taking all the required photos in sequence.
