This head of service in Garches was estimated on BFMTV that hydroxychloroquine would have helped to prevent 25,000 deaths. Remarks denounced by his peers.

A statement is going to be open against the professor Christian Perronne, head of the department at the hospital Raymond-Poincaré in Garches (Hauts-de-Seine), and author of a book indictment on the management of the crisis of the Covid-19 (was there an error that THEY have not committed ?, Albin Michel). According to Le Figaro, this statement follows his comments made in the media in the framework of the promotion of the book.

the council of The Order, “alerted by the remarks made in many media by professor Christian Perronne, has seized the departmental council of the College of physicians of Hauts-de-Seine. He has been asked to enter and examine the case of the Pr Perronne and inform the CNAME suites that will be given,” said the council in the Figaro.

Christian Perronne, a staunch defender of the use of the treatment to the bottom of hydroxychloroquine to treat the Covid-19 had stated, in particular, on BFMTV that this molecule would have helped to prevent 25,000 deaths if it had been prescribed more heavily in France. But in this book, the professor also accuses by name some colleagues. He said as well as doctors of the CHU de Nantes “left to pierce his brother-in-law” in refusing to prescribe the treatment lighthouse by professor Didier Raoult.

In a press release received on Tuesday by The Express, the four chairpersons of bodies that represent the profession denounced already about shocks from Christian Perronne, held on BFMTV last June 17. Christian Perronne is originally in April, with the ex-minister Philippe Douste-Blazy, a petition for the easing of urgency, the possibilities of prescription of hydroxychloroquine. His peers were protesting against so-called “unfounded assertions which have been broadcast on radio and tv-national tv over the last few days” and that “are all the more serious that they are the work of a doctor, head of department in a hospital.”

The AP-HP enters its instances of conduct

The AP-HP has also entered its ethical instances because of the way in which it involves other physicians, according to an e-mail. In this letter of referral, dated Wednesday, the director-general of AP-HP (public Assistance – Hospitals of Paris), Martin Hirsch, asks his college of professional conduct to provide notice “before the end of the month of July”.

The question is “whether there may be breaches of obligations of conduct (…) in a case where comments are required, with the authority of a function of responsibility in a public hospital at a university.” The letter of the AP-HP peak including “the accusation against another team in a hospital outside the AP-HP had left the popping of a patient, in this case the brother-in-law of the person concerned, on the ground that would not have been issued a treatment advocated by the author as having proven, then, that this effectiveness is not established”.

More about that “need attention” according to the letter of Martin Hirsch : “to Pretend that the decisions regarding such treatment are the cause of 25 000 deaths in our country; and, finally, put into question the probity of the other doctors of the same institution in the manner in which they have expressed opinions on the crisis, by stating that their attitude has caused thousands of deaths”.

In his letter, Martin Hirsch states that it “does not, of course, call into question the freedom of expression” (…) “nor of course to consider that one could not freely contribute to the debate on how a health crisis is managed, and provide criticism, be they virulent”. He asked the college of ethics to say whether the remarks at issue are contrary to article 25 of the law on the rights and obligations of civil servants of 13 July 1983 , according to which the official performs his duties with dignity, impartiality, integrity and probity”.
