LIVERPOOL have sensationally opened talks to sign Kylian Mbappe, according to reports.
Mbappe’s future at Paris Saint-Germain is shrouded in doubt after the Frenchman announced he would not sign a new deal at the club.

PSG are now looking to sell up, to avoid losing their star man for free next summer, with interest from Real Madrid and Saudi Arabia.
They have already accepted an eye-watering offer of £259million from Al-Hilal, which would smash the world record for a transfer fee.
However, it is understood Mbappe has no interest in heading to the Middle East despite the astronomical wages they were happy to offer him.
And Mbappe has been exiled from PSG’s pre-season tour with the French superstar at loggerheads with his club.
There have even been reports he could choose to sit out the entire season if the stand-off goes on.
However, the Mirror say Liverpool are ready to offer a solution.
The Reds are said to be willing to hand Mbappe a PSG escape route for just one season.
It is claimed Jurgen Klopp’s Reds will propose to take him on loan for a year until his contract expires.

A transfer of this nature would allow PSG to bring in some cash – and potentially cover Mbappe’s wages – while allowing Mbappe to pursue his dream move to Madrid in 12 months’ time.
It would also provide Liverpool with an obvious boost in quality to their front line as they seek to return to the Champions League next season.
And a deal is not as far-fetched as it sounds, with Mbappe’s mother and agent, Fayza Lamari, said to be an avid Liverpool fan.
Mbappe admitted last year he had spoken to Klopp and Liverpool over the possibility of a transfer when he was still at Monaco.
He told the Telegraph: “We talked a little bit, but not too much.
“I talked to Liverpool because it’s the favourite club of my mum, my mum loves Liverpool.
“I don’t know why, you will have to ask her! It’s a good club and we met them five years ago. When I was in Monaco I met them. It’s a big club.”
Regardless, PSG appear to have found their Mbappe replacement in the form of compatriot Ousmane Dembele.
However, reports suggest the £43m deal needs to be completed in the next few days before his price tag doubles to £86m.
